Established in 2013, the Model United Nations chapter at Ben Gurion University (BGUMUN) quickly became a leading society in The Israeli Model United Nations Association (IMUNA). Attracting students from a wide range of academic and cultural backgrounds, BGUMUN prides itself on its diversity and inclusive society.

BGUMUN provides a platform, through Model UN lessons and simulations, for like-minded individuals and leaders to join together and develop leadership and diplomacy skills. Its members are exposed to the environment to develop and enrich their skills in public speaking, negotiation, innovative thinking, strategic thinking, research, and much more. Together they join together towards a better, brighter future.

With a long record of successful, high-level conferences, accomplishments, and awards in both the national and international arenas, BGUMUN is dedicated to increasing its aspirations and activities. This year the BGUMUN chapter seeks to enrich its alumni and take part in engaging opportunities - such as conferences and events. The chapter aims to contribute to the increasing number of young Israelis in positions of diplomatic leadership.
