About RuMUN
Founded in 2008 as Israel's first higher education Model UN chapter, the IMUNA's Model United Nations Chapter at Reichman University (RUMUN), formerly IDC Model United Nations (IDCMUN), brings together people from different cultural, ethnic, and religious backgrounds. RUMUN prides itself on "Shaping Tomorrow's Leaders, Today" through providing interactive academic sections in tandem with an opportunity to hear from guest speakers who play an instrumental role in the diplomatic field.
RUMUN has produced alumni who have served in the Israeli Mission to the UN, as well as executive members of the Israeli Model United Nations Association RA (IMUNA). Additionally, RUMUN creates an impression at both national and international conferences, bringing numerous awards back home to Herzliya.
This year, RUMUN strives to create a greater community among our alumni and current members through social events and learning opportunities. The Chapter will also seek to continue to bring awards back to Reichman University. Through RUMUN, delegates not only get an opportunity to become a better public speaker, negotiator, diplomat and leader, they are able to become greater people.
