Blockchain for Global Impact Conference
December 17, 2019
Today, IMUNA President Ari Karp attended the Blockchain for Global Impact Conference, the 8th Dr. Yehuda Paz Annual International Development Conference Day.
This amazing one-day conference brought together international and local leaders in development, innovation and utilisation of cutting-edge blockchain technologies focused on the SDGs. Where the Blockchain Technology is a key driver to help implement the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Ari met with leading members of the Blockchain and SDG communities in the private, public and governmental sector.
The Israeli Model United Nation Association is honoured to have partaken in this invaluable one-day conference, and looks forward to the realisation of increased efforts for the SDGs in Israel.
IMUNA Executives Meeting at the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan

The Israeli Model United Nations Association President, Ari Karp and COO, Shahd Abed had a fruitful meeting with the Second Secretary, Mr.Maksud Ibodulloev at the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, potential cooperations and partnerships were discussed between IMUNA and The Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

IMUNA X Debate for Peace Photo Exhibition at the Embassy of Ecuador

During the event, IMUNA members and Debate for Peace students had the privilege to meet the Ambassador of Ecuador, and they got to see the outstanding photo exhibition at the embassy.
We are exceedingly thankful for Debate For Peace program for their cooperation and The Embassy of Ecuador for their stunning hospitality and the worthwhile visit.
The Jerusalem Post Diplomatic Conference

IMUNA Executives and Members had the honor to attend The Jerusalem Post Diplomatic Conference with the Abba Eban Institute
Where the award, established by the Abba Eban Institute for International Diplomacy at the IDC Herzliya, was presented at the Jerusalem Post Diplomatic Conference.
Prestigious forum in the presence of the Prime Minister of Israel, where some 400 ambassadors, ambassadorial spokespeople and military attachés from around the world will convene.
The Diplomatic Conference is to strengthen Israel's public relations among diplomats residing in Israel.
An excellent opportunity to promote innovative diplomacy in the conference, by Abba Eban Institute in cooperation with IMUNA.

IMUNA Executive and leaders meet the US Embassy

IMUNA president Ari Karp, and IMUNA leaders Michael Knoll and Falah Shadafny had the privilege to meet the US Embassy members, Eitan Shiffman Public Diplomacy Specialist, and Miss Risa Levy ,Cultural Affairs Specialist at the US Embassy.
During the meeting, Our IMUNA executive and members discussed relationship between the U.S. Embassy and our association and IMUNA's future plans for the upcoming year.
Moreover, the discussion included the US Embassy's programs and activities in Israeli society, programs, plans for diversity and inclusion of all sectors in Israeli society.
OSCE Youth Forum Program in Cooperation with the MFA
October 28-29, 2019
IMUNA in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs appointed Samantha levy, BarMUN's representative to have the opportunity to participate in the OSCE Youth Forum at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Slovakia. Samantha appointed to represent and the Israeli Model UN Association delegates, young professionals and herself.
Samantha had the opportunity of debating, meeting new delegates in the OSCE Youth Forum program from around the world.
We are extremely thankful for the Ministry of The Foreign affairs in Israel for their cooperation and continuous potential opportunities.
Rosh Hashanah Toast Reception at the US Ambassador's Residence

The Israeli Model UN Association was honored to be invited by Ambassador David Friedman - U.S. Ambassador to Israel and Mrs. Tammy Friedman, to their Rosh Hashanah Toast Reception at the US Ambassador's Residence!
During the evening The Israeli Model UN Association's President, Mr. Ari Karp, and the newly elected Chairperson of the Board, Mrs. Orly Nistel-Gavrieloff, had the privilege to meet the Ambassador and interact with the illustrious guests!
We want to thank Ambassador & Mrs. Friedman and our friends at the U.S. Embassy Jerusalem for inviting us to toast and celebrate with them for the Jewish New Year, and for their continuous support for the Model UN program in Israel.

UK-Israel Innovate Reception, Welcoming the new British Ambassador to Israel, Mr. Neil Wigan

The Israeli Model UN Association was honoured to participate in the Uk-Israel Innovate Reception. The reception included welcoming the new British Ambassador to Israel, Mr Neil Wigan, on one of the best rooftops in the city of Tel Aviv. During the event, The Israeli Model UN Association Executive Director Miss. Shahd Abed had the privilege to meet the new British Ambassador, welcome him to Israel and introduce him to IMUNA's conferences, events, programs and activities.

US 243rd Independence Day Celebration at Jerusalem

IMUNA x Debate for Peace meet with the Spanish Deputy of chief at The Instituto Cervantes
The Israeli Model UN Association and the Debate for Peace program had the privilege to meet with the Spanish Deputy in Chief to Israel.
The Debate for peace program is held for Palestinian and Israeli High-School students, were they get to know more about the field of diplomacy by meeting diplomats in Israel.
In this meeting, IMUNA's Executive Director introduced our Non-profit association to the Spanish Deputy in Chief and to the High-school students that aim to be future diplomats in the future, and exploring about the world of MUN and debating beyond their current knowledge regarding High-school MUN.
We would like to thank The Debate for Peace program for this opportunity and The Instituto Cervantes at Tel Aviv for hosting this special meeting.

IMUNA's Brunch at the British Ambassodr residence with The Deputy Head of Mission Mr. Tony Kay

For the second year, The Israeli Model United Nations Association Executive Director and Heads of societies, were very fortunate to be invited to a delicious Brunch with the Deputy Head of Mission at the British Embassy Mr. Tony Kay.
Mr. Kay shared with us his experience as a diplomat alongside discussing UK and Israel’s relations.
We are so thankful for Mr. Kay and the British Embassy team for the warm hospitality at the Ambassador’s residence. For two years in a row now they have been making sure to deliver unique events and great hospitality for its guests.
Special thanks to IMUNA’s Executive Director Shahd Abed for organizing this incredible event with the British Embassy.

IMUNA Board of Directors and representatives of the IMUNA International Conference had the pleasure of attending a special evening hosted by Terry Davidson, the Counselor for Press and Cultural Affairs of The Embassy of the United States of America.
The event featured prominent members of the INSS - The Institute for National Security Studies who presented an interesting exhibition regarding negotiations.
We would like to extend our appreciation for hosting us and we hope to continue our special cooperation throughout the upcoming academic year.
